I grew up around festivals and circus and sung and played folk music from a young age, so performance has always been part of my life. I persued product design for a while, where I learned practical skills including woodwork and CAD and advocated strongly for sustainability. However, I found my true home when I came back to performance to study a BA in Performance: Design and Practice and St Martins. 

Initially thinking I would specialise in set and spacial design with a textiles twist, I soon found that my vision and drive was actually ideal for the people side of the making process. While my practice is often design-led, I love directing, facilitating and producing as they all give me the opportunity to bring big teams together and make space for each person's unique talents and ideas to coexist. I now work on a variety of projects in and out of uni, directing, facilitating, producing, making and building.
